Tasked by St Andrews University to record within their Laidlaw Music Centre. on Wednesday 20th we did a spatial recording of Hetty Buchanan String Quartet, to do this we had to create floor plans, create an equipment list and input list to professionally plan the session
After planning we set up everything on the day, using OCT and IRT respectfully to record a full surround sound image. using our plan to smoothly setup the microphones, from where they need to be, to distance between each mic, angle and altitude.
